Brown Sugar Cinnamon BreadTo order bread from the bakery, email me directly with the items you want, your address, and your payment method.  I’ll then bill you via PayPal (which can also process your Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, or Discover card). Upon verification of your payment, I’ll bake up your order and deliver it anywhere within the northern Virginia area.

If you’re local, you can fill out one of our PDF order forms and give it directly to me.

Unfortunately, I can’t ship our bread at the moment. I’m currently going through various experiments to see if I can freeze an order and overnight it, and what the bread looks like on the other end. And I want to see how much that would cost; not much point ordering $5 of bread with $15 shipping.

My current menu:

  • March Special: Brown Sugar Cinnamon Bread.  Replicating the taste of a slice of bread slathered with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon, this is very much a dessert or tea bread.  Sweet but not cloying, flavorful but not overpowering, this is our most popular offering at the moment.  US $3.50 for a 1-pound loaf, or $5.00 for a 1.75-pound loaf.
  • White bread, whole wheat bread, sweet raisin bread, buttermilk bread, or ciabatta bread. US $3.50 for a 1-pound loaf, or $5.00 for a 1.75-pound loaf.
    • My white bread is a cross between French and Italian bread. A medium crumb with lots of flavor, and a very soft crust. Fantastic with butter.
    • My whole wheat bread has a lot of texture to it; I add wheat germ to give it extra chewiness and a mildly firm crust.
    • Sweet raisin bread has a touch of extra sugar, and lots of raisins.
    • Buttermilk bread contains, well, buttermilk. Just the right amount of sweetness, with that creamy buttermilk flavor that pairs perfectly with jam.
    • Ciabatta has a loose texture, with a number of small air holes, and is very chewy.
  • Pound cake, US $7.00 per 1.5-pound loaf (about 12 servings). This is an incredibly rich, dense recipe from a friend of mine who’s since passed away. This is the polar opposite of a “low fat” food. Grill a slice and add vanilla ice cream for an orgasmic experience.
  • Scones, US $1.50 each. Light and moist, these are classic British delicacies partway between a muffin and a cake. Pairs well with tea (naturally) or coffee.
  • Brownies, US $1.50 each. These are very big, fudge-like brownies, and made from scratch using a classic recipe.
